Apply for your student to attend Braille Beats Fine Arts Program

Please note the following important information:

1. Program Application: Spaces are limited

  • Mail completed student and parent sections of the application form along with a $100.00 non-refundable deposit. Balance is due May 30, 2014.
  • Checks payable to: Blind Vision Inc or Braille Beats Fine Arts Program and mailed to: Braille Beats, 2501 Pheasant Run, Ortonville Mi 48462
  • Refund Policy: Students not accepted into the program will have the deposit returned. The deposit is non-refundable for those students accepted into the program.

2. Program Fee: $500.00

  • We have some limited funds for scholarships. Students who wish to apply, please contact Brunhilde Merk-Adam directly by phone at 248-790-8065. Please leave a message with your name, contact, phone number and the best time for us to return your call.
  • Some financial assistance support MAY be available from the student's local Lions' Club for those needing financial assistance to attend the Residential Intensive.

3. Applicants are to submit an audio sample or video

  • Submit audio or video of the student performing one musical selection that best shows his/her musicianship.

4. Program package will be mailed

  • Map, directions, event details, list of what to bring
  • Medical forms, etc will be forwarded upon acceptance into the program.


  • The Braille Beats Staff will divide the students into groups according to music experience and expertise to best provide skill development opportunities for both beginning and more advanced music students.
  • Cabin assignments will be based on gender and age of the students.
  • Program components and schedule subject to change.
